Funcom, developer of MMO Age of Conan, is not considering a sequal to the long-running and still popular with strong playerbase Anarchy Online.
Anarchy Online has been running for eight years and already has a booster-pack update, still enjoys a loyal fan base. Players have been asking for additions to the game and resulting in a Anarchy Online 2 title but Funcom has it’s hands full. Funcom already developing a next-gen MMO, new expansion to Age of Conan, and still developing Age of Conan; resulting in no time or cash to put into Anarchy Online 2.
This is sure going to disappoint some Anarchy Online fans who have been calling for an update, at least in graphical terms, to the original long living game.
